Who are we?

Founded in 2022, Toasty Systems (formerly VMS Systems) is a company that provides various IT services.

Toasty systems was created after spending many years supporting IT infrastructure across various industries and realizing a very large gap exists between enterprise-level support and small-scale operations. A fair amount of highly technical services can be accomplished at a much lower cost when the right tools are used. Individuals and small businesses typically pay a much higher premium for IT services due to their business scale.

Complete IT solutions can cost tens of thousands of dollars for a complete overhaul. A lot of this cost is not necessary for small businesses and can leave owners feeling like they don’t have many options. This typically results in IT asset quality, and/or security taking a back seat. We don’t believe having a secure and reliable IT infrastructure should break the bank.

Toasty Systems aims to take a personalized approach to IT management. From simple consulting and equipment repair to full-on managed infrastructure. We want to make IT support as painless as possible.

Since 2014, the YouTube channel Toasty Answers has been providing the public with how-to videos on various networking topics. Sharing knowledge with fellow IT enthusiasts has been an enjoyable pastime and Toasty Systems is the entity to take this assistance even further.

So, IT is expensive…, how do we keep costs down?

Our core management platform operates on a pay-per-seat basis. This means our cost of operation can remain as low as possible. We do not need to increase customer pricing to cover our platform operating expenses.

We have our own data centers. Most of our systems are self-hosted within the local region. We do not need to rely on outside vendors to operate our core business functions.

We utilize open-source solutions where possible. This means capabilities that typically cost big money are either free or significantly discounted when compared to other providers.

We have extensive experience when it comes to refurbished and/or second-hand hardware. A good chunk of the latest and greatest device cost comes from support access. While this can be a necessity for some, it is not required for everyone. If your business needs simple solutions, you don’t necessarily need platinum-level hardware.
